RuneScape's Wilderness Reborn update revamps the iconic PvP area and introduces the Daughter of Chaos quest

Jagex has just launched a new content update for its super popular MMORPG RuneScape. It features a rework for The Wilderness, which was originally a PvP zone, a brand new quest called Daughter of Chaos that is part of the Legacy of Zamorak storyline, and a bunch of other improvements.

The Wilderness has always been an iconic PvP location in RuneScape. However, with this update, things have been shaken up a little. The area has been renamed Wilderness Reborn and while players will come across others, the circumstances under which they meet are going to be different. The updated zone is now a hub for gathering together and having fun, not just for high-level players to battle it out.
Additionally, Wilderness Reborn features a complete graphical overhaul, making the region look so much better. PvP will be automatically turned off on coming here, as the aim is to encourage player versus monster combat that involves a collaborative effort. A new area for Slayer skilling shouldn’t be missed either! Of course, PvP can be started at any time.
The best way to explore the Wilderness once again is by completing the Daughter of Chaos quest. Last month, RuneScape’s biggest boss battle yet, a fight against the Lord of Chaos, Zamorak went live. Players took on an extremely challenging task but managed to eventually complete it. Things did not end here, though. Much more of Zamorak’s legacy remains to be uncovered.

The first step in this direction is the new mission, Daughter of Chaos. It is crafted in a way to suit both veterans and newbies. On completion, players will earn a 10% damage reduction and a 5% damage boosting bonus. The story isn’t one to skip either as the MMORPG’s next six months will be based on what happens right now.
